NCMCRS Current Research Students

From the first day as a PhD student until you receive the title of Dr, your life will be exciting and challenging.

Each student pursues this program for slightly different reasons, however the range of skills you develop and experiences you have at AMC will be rewarding and for many, personally revealing.

Part of the key to successfully completing this program of study is to be informed. Below are some links to useful resources available within the NCMCRS and both inside and outside the University.


National Center for Marine Conservation & Resource Sustainability Graduate Research Handbook - this handbook will provide details of operational issues throughout your time as a student, including your research proposal and submitting the thesis, as well as activities in the NCMCRS.


University Graduate Research Resources
- this University web site contains all the paperwork, forms, handbooks, and information about graduate skill workshops that you will need.


STAR
(Skills to Advance Your Research)- STAR (Skills to Advance Your Research) is a web-based resource which has been designed to support postgraduate research students.


TUPA
- is the Tasmania University Postgraduate Association - this is your association and is designed to provide support (moral, social and academic) to research students.

 

The NCMCRS Graduate Research Coordinator is a useful port of call and is able to assist in a range of matters related to your candidature.
