On January 1 2008 AMC became a specialist institute of the University of Tasmania.
What does this mean to AMC students?
It means that certain services are delivered by AMC (eg. graduation gowns) and others by UTAS (eg. enrollments). In some instances initial enquiries will be dealt with by AMC and then transferred to UTAS for resolution. The staff at AMC and the University work hard to ensure that all aspects of your course are well managed and they are all ready to answer your questions and sort out any issues that may arise.
As an AMC student you have the same rights and privileges as UTAS students, including access to facilities, services and activities on the UTAS campuses and AMC still retains its autonomy over the delivery of its educational programs.
