Professional Development Opportunities

Opportunities exist to participate in a range of UTAS-central and AMC (in-house) programs. As well, taking on a teaching/learning project is a powerful way to gain further insights into teaching and learning.

UTAS-central staff development programs (teaching and learning)

Teaching and Learning Development – includes the Graduate Certificate in University Learning & Teaching, central workshops (campus-based/cross-campus), Teaching Matters annual conference
Teaching Online Essentials (TOE) program (and advanced modules)

UTAS Teaching Development Grants – funded and supported projects are a great vehicle for action-based professional development. See the UTAS Grants web site.
