Graduate Research

Interested in research training at AMC?

AMC has an active research program across the disciplines of aquaculture, marine conservation, fisheries science and aquatic animal health. We have more than 40 graduate research students currently studying in the National Centre for Marine Conservation and Resource Sustainability.

We have a large network of research projects available with the possibility of conducting research at other facilities around Australia and overseas. Academic staff in NCMCRS have a strong research publication track record and we encourage our graduate research students to publish in international journals and present their research at international conferences.

As the Graduate Research Coordinator, Dr Troy Gaston is the first point of contact for information on enrolment and candidature. There is also a graduate student representative who represents the research students within the NCMCRS.

We have a number of potential research projects available and we encourage you to contact Dr Gaston to find out our specific interests and areas of expertise.
