Interested in research training at AMC?The NCMCRS has an active research program across the disciplines of conservation biology, aquaculture and fisheries science. We have more than 50 graduate research students currently studying in the NCMCRS, providing a strong environment of peer support and collegiality. We have a large network of research projects available with the possibilities of being able to work at other research facilities around Australia and the world. Academic staff in NCMCRS have a strong research publication track-record and we encourage our graduate research students to publish in international journals and present their research at international conferences. Many unique research opportunities exist as a result of our collaborations with other research institutes, including the Tasmanian Aquaculture and Fisheries Institute (TAFI), Seafood CRC and with research scientists at CSIRO. As the Graduate Research Coordinator, Associate Professor Natalie Moltschaniwskyj is the first point of contact about enrolment and candidature. There is also a Graduate student representative who represents the research students within the NCMCRS. We have a number of potential research projects available and we encourage you to visit the NCMCRS staff pages to find out our specific interests and areas of expertise.
