New Director appointed

The AMC is delighted to announce the appointment of John Francis to the role of Director, Maritime Transport Policy Centre. John took up the position towards the end of August.

John’s recent roles include Director of Thompson Clarke Shipping where he worked for nearly ten years. It is in part a ‘welcome home’ for John as he is a former student of the University of Tasmania; he graduated with a Bachelor of Laws and spent some years as a Barrister at Law specialising in maritime law at the Victorian Bar.
