Hello and welcome to Business Research. This unit aims to provide you a thorough understanding and appreciation of the nature and processes of research in the context of project management. It is specifically designed to provide you fundamentals for conducting your Maritime Management Project in the second semester. Doing research in the field of Maritime and Logistics Management is not simply for academic purposes. Principles and techniques that you learn from this Unit will be of great help to you as a practitioner in researching and tackling operational and management problems that you may encounter at your workplace. But first of all, you will have the opportunity to apply what you learn in this Unit to a pretty much setting in your Maritime Management Project in the second semester.
