Introduction - Gayle Young

Hi everyone. I am a geologist based in the Bowen Basin in Central Queensland, Australia. I started this course for two reasons - having been in my current job (coal quality) for some time I felt my brain needed a bit of a work out. I thought this course would be an interesting extension on my coal quality background. I am hoping this study will open up some employment opportunities on the coast (maybe one of the coal terminals in Mackay).

I have almost completed Module 2 (trying to get ahead as I am going overseas for 4 weeks in May). Plenty of reading and new concepts to grasp but am enjoying it.
