Introducing me

Hey ISMers

 Now this is really sad, I have to resort to replying to my own emails to get some interaction on the Forum!  I really need to get a life.

So just who is out there? I will start the ball rolling by introducing myself.

 I have been lecturing in a fulltime capacity at AMC for 9 years and before that in a casual capacity whilst lecturing at the University of Tasmania. I currently lecture at the undergraduate level:

* Introduction to Services Marketing

* Human Resource Management

I also lecture at the postgrad MBA  level:

* Services Marketing

* International Human Resource Management

 In addition I am the Head of Department which is the reason I can be difficult to get hold of sometimes.

I am married with 3 children (21, 19 and 17) so for those of you with children you will understand what I am going through, particulalry with one on L plates for driving.

In my life before lecturing I use to work in a woodchip mill as a shiploader and mill operator for 10 years which I then left to become a student, first of all by distance education for a year before going full-time into a Business degree and then Honours and then the PhD. Education has really sucked me in, I never planned on lecturing, but the quest for more knowledge just became too overpowering, so here I am.
