Here are some points you should focus upon: - Discusss the impacts of information technology on the supply chain, what are the benefits and positive changes that lead to a more efficienct and effective supply chain. You should concentrate your discussion not only in the context within the organisation, but also across organisations. - Although there many be many benefits from the use and application of information technology in supply chain, there may also be challenges and hindrances to such a use and application. This can be discussed from two levels: (1) there may be some challenges in order to use and apply IT; and (2) there many be challenges in the effective use and application of IT so as to bringa bout effeciency and effectiveness in the supply chain. Your discussion should be clearly presented according to these two broad themes, and then to each specific point. Where appropriate, examples should be given to illustrate your discussion.
