AMC is Australia’s national training provider for the maritime training requirements of Ocean seafaring (Bluewater, international seagoing vessels) and Coastal seafaring (vessels in Australian waters).

- Deck Officer
As a Deck Officer you will be responsible for the safe navigational operation of a vessel while the vessel is at sea. At port you coordinate cargo operations such as loading, stowage and discharge. - Engineer Officer
Engineer Officers are responsible for operating and maintaining a vessels structure, machinery and equipment to make sure the vessel operates safely and effectively at all times. - Integrated Ratings
As an Integrated Rating you will work to support the deck officer and engineer officer roles and assist those officers in the smooth running of a vessel.

Medical Certificates
Students who will be attending training vessel voyages, including the FSV Bluefin are required to have a completed medical certificate. For seafarers living, working or presently in Australia, the certificate holder must obtain a certificate of medical fitness issued in accordance with Marine Orders Part 9. A list of appointed medical inspectors of seaman has been provided on the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) website. For seafarers living and working outside Australia please follow requirements listed on Australian Maritime Safety Authority website.
