I commenced with AMC July 2008, after a 20 plus year career in transport management. I have had 15 years as an active volunteer firefighter with the Tasmanian Fire Service, and undertake training duties (with the fire service) of other volunteer fire fighters as a VTI.
I am married with a grown up family and have three grandchildren, (two boys and one girl) aged between two and five. I have lived local in Launceston all my life with the exception of a six year period away whilst I served in the RAAF.
I am currently enrolled in the UTAS Grad Certificate program covering University Teaching and Learning and have recently commenced a Bachelor of Management (Maritime Logistics) course through AMC via distance learning.
