Dr Elkana Ngwenya commenced work at the Australian Maritime College in 1997. Previously he held lecturing positions at the University of Zimbabwe, the University of Swaziland and the University of Tasmania. I have also worked as a tutor (Introduction to Econometrics, Quantitative Methods) at the University of Tasmania. He has a keen interest in applied economics, in particular in the area of applied fisheries economics.
Elkana currently facilitates learning in the following subjects:

These subjects are part of the Bachelor of Applied Science (Fisheries) and Bachelor of Administration (Marine Resources) degree programs.
