Publication of Examination Timetables
Examinations are conducted periodically throughout the academic year as outlined within published AMC Official Dates.
A preliminary examination timetable is displayed on relevant notice boards around AMC and on the Intranet at least four weeks prior to the commencement of an examination period.
Every effort is made to schedule exams to the benefit of students. Students are given the opportunity to notify the Academic Coordinator of any clashes in their examination timetable.
A final examination timetable is displayed on relevant notice boards and the Intranet at least two weeks prior to the commencement of an examination period.

Note: AMC will not provide special consideration in cases where students have misread or misunderstood the published examinations timetable: students will not be eligible to sit the exam at another time.
Examination Clashes
AMC defines an examination clash as:
- Two examinations at the same time including any overlap.
- Less than one hour between exams where they are held on the same campus.
- Insufficient traveling time (less than two hours) between examination venues at different campus or off-campus sites.
- Three or more consecutive examinations scheduled over a two day period (eg Thursday afternoon, Friday morning, Friday afternoon). AMC does not regard Friday or Saturday and the following Monday as consecutive days.
Students must notify the Academic Coordinator in writing of any examination clashes no more than ten working days after the preliminary examination timetable has been published. AMC is unlikely to provide alternative arrangements where written advice is received after ten working days.
